Welcome to Lowanna Alpacas, a small boutique breeder of suri alpaca. Our stud is situated in the Kinglake Ranges, north of Melbourne at 373 O'Gradys Rd Pheasant Creek. We specialise in quality coloured suris with an emphasis on the exquisite greys.
We became involved in the alpaca industry after attending a weekend information session. It didn't take us long to discover the flowing beauty of suris and our love continues to grow. Every cria born has its own unique charm & with this years cria we believe we are on the right track to Excellence.
Two of our Stud Sires, being Canchones Rabanne & Canchones Equus are producing quality animals that are proven ribbon winners with Canchones Prophecy's first cria on ground looking like another ribbon winner.
Soon to follow suit will be our two Broad Ribbon Winners, Lowanna Solstice (mid grey) & Lowanna Izoke (solid black) who were both Sired by the late Canchones Vertigo. These boys should both be ready for matings in 2012.
